Toledo Ohio Bride Review:

I didn't come to appreciate the complexity of wedding planning until I had my own wedding. What a crazy mess. So many things to plan so many people and vendors to visit. The whole thing was exhausting. Even in small little Toledo Ohio I found the entire process overwhelming. This is precisely the reason why I created this site. If you're like me, you probably have no clue who to trust and who will take advantage of you. I pretty much went with friends and family suggestions. not exactly the best way to gather info. Most of these people have limited experience with weddings themselves and know of very few vendors. Basically I went with the first people recommended. I'm sure they weren't the best. In fact I know now I could have done a much better job selecting my vendors.

My plan is to comb the net and listen closely to friends and family. All along compiling references and experiences of all the available Wedding Vendors in Toledo Ohio. Eventually I hope to have an extensive collections of reviews for all things wedding.

Schuyler is awesome (it's pronounced Skyler). I've known her for years and went to beauty school with her. I've heard other people recommend her on here as well.

I had my entire wedding party (the girls) done at the Attitudes on Heatherdowns. They are great. I was able to go in for a hair trial complete with make-up. We got the whole wedding package so all of my girls and myself got hair, make-up and nails. They schedule the nails individually about a day or two before the wedding. One of my girls couldn't make it out to the Heatherdowns location before the dinner rehearsal so they scheduled her in at Sylvania which took a load off of her. Included was also dinner rehearsal hair and make-up for me as well which was great! The day of, they seclude a section of the salon. Each girl gets their own hair dresser and they also provide muchies...bagels, juice, and fruit. We were able to bring in "festivities" to make beverages with the OJ which helped me a lot!!! I can not say enough about Attitudes. They are very accommodating!!!!!

I've been searching for a place & person that I'm comfortable w/ that isn't going to break my budget & I"VE FOUND IT!!! (I'm SO excited!!!) Terrarium Hair Spa on Sterns & Jackman just over the line in MI. I went last night & got a hair cut & felt SO comfortable there & the girl that trimmed my hair got SO excited when I showed her the picture of what I wanted to do for the wedding. Everywhere else I showed the picture they shook their head & said my hair won't do that (VERY fine & straight long hair)....I know that mine won't be exact, but that is the look I want....she assured me that she would be able to recreate the look. ANYWAY.......their bridal package (up-do & makeup) is $75 & wedding party (up-do & makeup) is $ 55. French maicure $25...ped $50. Their prices are SO good I'm going to splurge & pay for my 2 girls hair & makeup. Check them out, if your still looking for a place :)

I agree. My hairstylist works there and everyone is so nice and prices are good for getting my hair cut and colored there.

Also we got all of our hair done there for my sister's wedding and they did a great job with hair and makeup. If I was getting married in Toledo we would go there for all of our girls. But luckily my hair stylist and another one from there as well are coming to our location and doing our hair, which will be great.
