vendor reviews/for sale

so i never made a bio but i have some wedding pics posted online from 3/16/07. www.carrpix.com click on events then order online and the dillon wedding. i don't know why the rest are not posted yet but i will be sure to show you. you can't see the candy buffet or ice luge, or cake well in these pics.

Hall- Cambridge Place on alexis. A Everyone loved the food! got to bring my own alcohol. They did the dance floor decorations for cheap and looked awesome. chair covers did myself so they were 1.50 chair from hall good deal i thought. They also had the window screens behind the head table. did not smell like smoke day of wedding. staff awesome- 3 handicap at my wedding and they brought their plates of food. the event coordinated walked around during the night and made sure everthing was in order. I gave her my candy buffet stuff and she set up the table for me and even let me use additional bowels etc. for free. ended up doing dash for cash and she gave me nice containers to use last minute. only thing was I wanted pineapple and strawberry trees made for the chocolate fountain and she didnt. not sure what happened. and I had my ceremony their the night of rehearsal it was kinda chaotic and she was hard to find. but night of the wedding she was awesome. oh the ceremony looked really elegeant their they put up windows to cover the head table and I was married on the dance floor. dounds wierd but looked cool. They also provided anything I needed for the ice sculpture(buckets, etc)
dj Decorative Sound- A+ Mike did my ceremony and reception. He was nice, played what I wanted when I wanted did the ceremony music correct. I even changed my grand intro song before the wedding started and he left and bought the cd for it and was back before ceremony started. He made sure I had a drink all night and did not play songs on do not play list.
photographer Creative Concepts- Won't rate yet. I don't have all pics and still have to make my storybook album. So far A+. They were with me my wedding day from 9:30-11pm 2 photographers. they were professional. they also did the dinner rehearsal pics and Jan helped to coodinate the rehearsal because it was craziness. She even typed up my daughters poem for the ceremony on cute paper for her to read. beyond photographer duties for sure. she also called a vendor during some chaos. Jan very thorough in all the meetings.
Cake- A+ my aunt did it , he first cake and it was perfect. Made just like I wanted
Zeilers- A+ inexpensive, delievered alcohol to hall and I got to return unopened alcohol
Ice Creations-A+ we gave him a picture and he made us a ice luge perfect. It was a huge hit! I was worried about the germ thing but their was plenty of partiers that didnt mind. i will post a picture soon.
Creative Touch- decorations A+ I got pew balls for the ceremony on hangers for the isle, centerpieces, and an arch on for the ceremony. She set up night before wedding so I could use decor during rehearsal.
Chocolate Sensations- A+ no problems the set up before ceremony came back and di fountain for 2 hours. Hall provided food.
Candy buffet used Boyds retro candy place in toledo and rock candy from groovy candy.com A+
Craft 2000- C vases for bridal boquets on head table. They took 3 months to get in for some reason they lost our order but they were inexpensive and looked nice. I have 5 for sale if anyone wants them. They are oversized so flowers are in the whole vase. Also selling letters I had on my cake table and candy buffet that say word and candy buffet martini glasses and vases ( i can email pics if any ones interested)
Davids Bridal - B (pics on website above)I wont even go into detail but they are just rude and some of the dress clasps started to come off before the wedding(cheap) for 180.00 no quality but they looked nice. They were pick up dresses. I had to have sashes made (in champagne)for the peridot dresses because the sash was peridot and that looked dumb. 2 girls wore peridot and 3 girls wore the latte dresses. Flower girls.. pics in website too. I have two ivory dresses with rum on them the one is 2t with train and other one matches 6. If interested in any of the dresses for a wedding youre in or anything sure people are willing to sell them.
House of Hilton - A+ customer service was good for me. small selection but they had that one dress that gallipos had I wanted to buy for $300 cheaper..gallipos was also rude 2nd time I was their so I went to the Hilton to get the dress. My dress is a corset beaded with crystals and pick up. Blush in color. I believe called pearl similar to champagne..hard to explain.
Atlas- A+ I got a veil special order from a description of what I wanted. came in 1 week. I seen one at HOH but it was 300.00 so I was gonna make one but crystals were outrageous. So got my veil here120 cheaper 4 weeks before the wedding. It was hard to find a veil due to the color of my dress. The champagne veil with svorski(sp?) crystals looked fine though.
invitation- Now and forever.com . A+ inexpensive seal and send I think I paid 110 for 125 of them and they also gave me 10 extra they did the job.
flowers Emerys- I hate to do this but C- One of my mom friends owns the place .. he was nice and coordinated my colors well but .. I called to touch base one time before velentines day(4 days before) to schedule final meeting (it takes 5 min)apparently they were busy but I paid 525 for flowers I should be a priority too(women rude to me on the phone). I ordered bouts + corsages they were fine.. but
1.I had a lollipop made for candy buffet table.. did not look anything like the picture and looked thrown together.
2. my boquet long calla lillies(7) that was fine but i gave him fabric to match my dress to wrap it in. It was frayed on the edges! He explained that it was the fabric being hard to cut but he should have pinned it or sewed it or used different fabric and it looked like a 2 year tied it. I had commments before the wedding about it so a bridesmaid fixed it.
3. Bouquets smaller than expected. calla are expensive so i had roses in as fillers. but each bouquet only had a couple callas in it and they were minitures I think. neways they looked nice but not for 35.oo a bouquet!
4. flower balls This tops it off. Flowers were not used before wedding ceremony when we did pics( did them earlier in day before hand) due to the cold. So they got their flowers at the hall balls were not fully covering the ball. YOu could see green ball underneath. Then flowers were randomly falling out. Right before the ceremony my daughter barly moved the flower ball around the string fell out the top and it fell on the ground. it was so wet that the whole ball fell apart. so no flower for her during ceremony. My oldest daughter had hers through the ceremony.. then in the recieving line it fell apart she had hers 1 hour tops. For probably 80.00 I'm #$@
Sad part is I didnt care that much about flowers and had no expectations and I was disappoined. I have friends that used him and loved him so I don't know what happened.

I will post my salon reviews later. I f you have any questions or want to buy anything you see in the wedding pics . Let me know I can email pics, I also have 5 cany scoopers silver.
